Great Lakes on Copper | 5x7
This is a signed, original piece of copper art, produced using a painstaking 42-plus step process beginning with a flat piece of copper and a variety of natural acids. The finished work is sealed in high quality resin giving it the equivalent of 200+ coats of polyurethane. This halts the possibility of further oxidation and protects the copper.

Alex and Becky Teselsky constructed a copper and stone bar in their Michigan log cabin. They wanted to hang an appropriate piece of art in it, thinking an image of the Great Lakes on the leftover copper would be perfect. Not wanting to re-invent the wheel, they searched but were unable to find any tutorials on the internet or any evidence of a company they had done anything like they had visualized, so they decided to invent their own process.
